Eldove was formed in 2020/2021, consisting of members aged 60 and above from diverse backgrounds.
These seniors, who call themselves ELDOVE, are individuals with unquestionable experience and capacity.
The name ELDOVE is an acronym for Elderly, Old, Very Old. A term taken from the UN for elderly age criteria.
The term "elderly" as known in Indonesian society is considered to be less representative of the spirit, hopes, mobility, and continued work.
The elderly are often seen as fragile, helpless, weak, forgotten, sickly, and even needing to be treated specially, and so on.
Therefore, the ELDOVE management agreed to avoid the term "elderly." The spirit and hope to continue working and serving are poured into the vision and mission of the ELDOVE Community.

Eldove dibentuk tahun 2020/2021, beranggotakan umat usia 60 tahun ke atas dari berbagai latar belakang.
Para senior yang menyebut dirinya ELDOVE ini adalah orang-orang yang memiliki pengalaman dan kapasitas yang tidak diragukan lagi.
Nama ELDOVE merupakan singkatan dari Elderly, Old, Very Old. istilah yang diambil dari PBB untuk kreteria usia lanjut.
Istilah "usia lanjut" seperti yang dikenal masyarakat Indonesia dianggap kurang mewakili semangat, harapan, mobilitas, dan terus berkarya.
Lansia terkesan sebagai manusia yang rapuh, tak berdaya, lemah, terlupakan, penyakitan, bahkan harus diistimewakan, dan lain sebagainya.
Karena itu, Pengurus ELDOVE sepakat untuk menghindari istilah "Usia Lanjut." Semangat dan harapan untuk terus berkarya dan melayani dituangkan dalam visi dan misi ELDOVE Community.
