My God, my Guide, my Lord and my Companion.
You have been close to me and with You I have gone through more years than I can count.
You have never left my side.
When I fell,
You lifted me up.
When I carelessly walked on the edge of destruction,
You were there to pull me up.
When I cried out in protest and rebellion, Your punishment felt gentle and Your love remained.
O Most Gracious God.
Now the hour of my life is getting late.
