The Beauty of Ultrafast and Nonlinear Optical Physics: Marvelous Journey in The Nanoworld

Prof. Hendry Izaac Elim

Indonesia Physicist

Pattimura university

In this video of invited talk in the program of physics monthly seminar held by A+ physics department in Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at Pattimura university, Prof. Hendry Izaac Elim was the main speaker.

The title of such interesting talk was "The Beauty of Ultrafast and Nonlinear Optical Physics: Marvelous Journey in The Nanoworld."

Prof. Elim explained about his 34 years journey in advancing the field of physics especially in nanoworld or the technology with the size of nanometer or about 1000 times smaller than the thickness of human hair.

Such presentation was provided from the theoretical physics background in quantum mechanics since 1995, up to experimental physics of nanoscience and nanotechnology.

Furthermore, he added his collaborative works in applied physics achievements particularly in nanotechnology from his recent discoveries about the ultrafast and nonlinear optical physics of superhybrid nanostructures materials.

The end of the talk was very fruitful with the answers of 4 high quality difficult questions from the attendees consisted of physics freshmen and sophomores.

Finally, we do hope that you guys can enjoy the whole talk in about 1.5 hours.

Cheers,

Hendry
